'CommonSpark started with an ambition: to deliver true Neapolitan pizza to New York. The Romano family founded our pizzeria in 1985 as a quaint, family-owned shop with long-standing recipes.
During her voyage across Italy, our pioneer Marco Romano mastered the craft of pizza from Neapolitan pizza chefs. Back in the UK, she was resolute in replicating the essence of classic Italian pizza, emphasizing original techniques and top-notch ingredients.
From its origins as a cozy space with just 12 seats, it's developed into a cherished community spot, though our dedication to exceptional taste and authenticity endures. We faithfully follow traditional wood-fired baking, freshly prepare our dough daily, and always select premium-grade ingredients.
To this day, 'CommonSpark' is still under the same family management, with the next of the Romano lineage overseeing our devoted crew. While incorporating some contemporary innovations, the essence of our trade remains steady: serving superb, genuine pizza that unites folks.
